@vanvugt - USB-C port seems to be wired to NVIDIA GPU on this laptop. I
cannot use the monitor, if I switch to Intel GPU (`prime-select intel`)
- it doesn't even identify that a monitor was connected.

System freeze when plugging
I have the same problem...
And mine is worse - picking Ubuntu on XOrg has no effect.
ThinkPad P1 Gen3 has all HDMI/USBC monitors connected to NVidia only.
So I cannot use external monitor in any way shape or form. This is new,
btw.
