on a 1280x800 laptop screen, the toolbars are taking up a lot of screen real

Sorry, I can't anymore. Due to some non-specific but very annoying
network problems, I just re-installed 10.04 LTS. Rhythmbox now works as
well as it ever did ( it still totally screws up importing the music
folder from my windows partition). if it helps any, I keep '/home' on a
separate partition

Other problems in booting to my computer this morning. I did a recovery
mode and all seems to be working OK now. I think the recovery mode may

remounted the Samba volume and restarted rhythmbox and again it found
the appropriate playlist and was fine.
Hope this helps. Maybe this is not truly a bug but rather a function of
rhythmbox interacting with Samba.

Keep in mind this started as a bug against the "Add Applications" tool
(the point about the main menu was an aside) but I assume that has been
fixed too.

The same values are shown even when totem is playing. When I slide
contrast to the left, the video seems to become ok. But I expect it to
work when the contrast is in the middle.
Adding "#" does not work:

It looks nice when XV_CONTRAST is around 55-70 (out of 255).

I tried installing dbgsym packages or using debuginfod to get a full
backtrace for libwayland-server.so, but I failed.

I see this on both 23.04 and 23.10, around 10% of the time emacs
launches from a shell, and with emacs -Q too.
