Sorry for the previous and rude comment. I'm not usually resorting to
such kind of language but this really shocked me. Ubuntu is accused of
copying Apple too much as it is but this is bringing it too far. It

I have the same problem event to the extent that when I want to save a
copy of the document I can't enter the new filename via keyboard and I
have to copy-paste (with mouse) the filename into save dialog box.

I'm seeing the normal 'Public FTP' and 'FTP with Password' lists, but am
unable to connect to any server receiving "Error: DBus error
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply

I had similar experience when upgrading from intrepid to jaunty. Totem
plays in slow motion and besides the quicktime plugin stopped working.
After complete removing and then reinstalling them in synaptic they
started to work again.

I'm reopening this bug. Totem (2.26.0-0ubuntu) displays MicroDVD
subtitles incorrectly - the timing is wrong. When the same subtitles are
converted into SubRip format they are shown as intended (timing is
correct). VLC has no problems displaying both formats correctly. Also
Totem-xine plays the sam

As of today - all updates applied - I got the same error [gnome-
appearance-properties crashed with SIGSEGV in
gconf_peditor_new_tree_view()]. I think the bug should be reopened.
