Please also try selecting 'Ubuntu on Xorg' at the login screen to see if
the freezes were specific to Nvidia-Wayland support.

In Ubuntu 24.04.1 settings "Display Screen" is not working. It is
failing to change screens to something usable; and this make many pages
unusable. I'm guessing this comes from gdm gnome3? All software up to
date.
mutter 47.0-1ubuntu4.2 in oracular-proposed was abandoned because the
verification failed for this bug: https://launchpad.net/bugs/2069564.
So, I think in order for this bug fix to proceed for oracular, we need a
47.0-1ubuntu4.3 upload with the patch for 2069564 reverted, along with
the fix for th
