Hi Chris / Alessandro,
I'm possibly doing something wrong, but I was trying to upgrade to

Hey, thank you for testing!
mutter is comprised of multiple packages, which you should install all
at the same time. You can either specify all the packages and their
version in the same apt command, or a simple way that should get it
working is: `sudo apt install -t noble-proposed libmutter-14-0`

I hit this too, and had to adapt the work-around to be slightly more
permissive, since `openvpn` actually needs to load multiple files, making it
look more like this:
sudo bash -c "echo '@{HOME}/Documents/canonical/vpn/* r,' >>
/etc/apparmor.d/local/openvpn"

I'm conflicted, because what Yao and Gre0 describe would be a

No I don't. All the tests have been made on fresh installs without any

I've tried with other distributions (Opensuse, Fedora), and the problem is also

@nteodosio regarding to issue from Gre0, I found it reproducible if
/tmp/.X11-unix is removed before starting GDM, as the ownership of that
directory became "gdm" (user 120), however after reboot the issue is
gone. I am wondering this is related to how that directory is created.

from both versions are attached.

/tmp/.X11-unix directory. I am only here to unblock th
