Having exactly the same issue with multiple apps, thank God somebody
suggested pressing WIN + holding middle button to resize the window
without even getting a cursor.
The more I use Ubuntu 24, the more I want to get rid of it, so much
bugs...

Although the hack works but randomly it leads a lot of time to screen
blank/hangs resulting in to reboot the device and hence i have disabled
the hack and reverted to x11 session.

I installed Shotwell from noble-proposed (0.32.6-1ubuntu2), imported 8
photos into it, executed the script in the test plan, cycled through the
photo set about 3 times and immediately terminated shotwell.
I verify that the stack memory hits a plateau (plot attached).
