When I try to rename file or folder in popup window that Nuatilus
provides for that, I cannot switch language (I use Alt+Shift). It seems
that popup intercepts all keypresses, even that it does not handle. That
problem appeared after I upgraded Ubuntu 22.04.3->24.04.1

partially) down to a linux-raspi configuration difference. Kernel team:
is there a reason landlock is disabled in the Pi kernel? Seems to work
happily on a Pi 5, but perhaps there was some incompatibility with
earlier models?

I'm pretty sure this is reproducible with any terminal emulator. The
application you're interrupting leaves the terminal emulator in some
non-default state. Blindly executing the command "reset" should fix it.
Also, please file a bugreports against such applications to properly
clean up the termina

I've seen this behavior many times, but never investigated to understand
what happens _exactly_ under the hood. Now I'd like to dig a bit deeper.

I politely concur that this bug is really an annoyance and totally understand
why some people are losing patience. People do work in corporate environments
using Ubuntu or other linux distros and this bug totally prevents accessing
work shares.

It doesn't turn off. If you set scaling factor 1.00 in the gnome tweaks,
it will reset to 1.25.

drivers in Ubuntu 22.04. This prevents any libadwaita apps from
launching while using the Wayland display server.
