My company develops applications using pure Java (two apps) and QtJambi (Java
wrapped for Qt 5, 1 app). After updating my system from Ubuntu 22.04.3 to

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #2034524, so is being marked as such.
I just tried out further that copying in general works, just the
selection I entered did not work. I chose the selection to have a
position of 0/0 and be 1600px wide and 29px high (so a strip on the top
edge of the picture).

Single click doesn't work in file chooser dialog box

GNOME Terminal, by design, only shows you fonts that are marked as
monospace (a.k.a. fixed width). Terminal emulation, by its very nature,
uses a strict grid of cells, and proportional (non-monospace) fonts are
usually unusable, or extremely ugly at least.

I opened a JPEG image, converted the color profile from the one embedded
into the image (sRGB) to the one GIMP suggested (GIMP built-in sRGB).
Then I selected a rectangular part of the image with the mouse, adjusted
