possible to get the "default" with g_network_monitor_get_default.
Which one is the default is based on hardcoded "priorities" which by
default are set to e.g. 30 for NetworkManager, 20 for netlink.

I've tried the workaround you suggested even if my problem is different, but
the problem still occurr.
It does not happen using an external mouse, it's strictly linked with the
trackpad.
I think it's a bug in the kernel too, because happens sporadically also when
not under load, lasts for 10-20
