Problem did not occur on prior Ubuntu 20.04. I upgraded because the
intel graphics acceleration for Intel N95 chipset was not supported.
Thus the system used software rendering.

When scaling some windows in some programs down horizontal lines appear
that seem to be part of the texture memory somewhere else on the screen.
This only occurs in some programs like nautilus and gedit, but not in
others like terminal or Firefox.

the entire width of the framebuffer. THIS IS NOT THAT ISSUE. It's more
like a bunch of 1px lines are spilling an image from somewhere else on

The fix in the PPA is not working for me on Jammy: the lag may be gone,
but some rendering is intermittently missed.
