and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
shell/45.2-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed

All autopkgtests for the newly accepted gnome-shell (45.2-0ubuntu1) for mantic
have finished running.
The following regressions have been reported in tests triggered by the package:

Still an issue with current releases. Default GNOME/libinputa doesn't
enable tap-to-click, but Ubuntu does for the GNOME desktop, and
therefore it should also for GDM.

I am not the original poster, but I had all of the same symptoms. I
manually tried the 45.2-0ubuntu1 version of mutter mentioned above, and
the tablet works now!
Tested Krita, Inkscape, Blender (and general system navigation)
