"/etc/gdm3/custom.conf".
After I edit "WaylandEnable" parameter in "/etc/gdm3/custom.conf", the icon
showed up on gdm3.

Display Server Preference Icon does not show up in gdm3
I confirm freeze on workspace switch with two screens, main being the
external one. In my case it's Ubuntu 23.04, there were no such problems
with 22.04. The "upgrade" solve some other issues, mostly with screen
energy saving, but now this annoying one happens.

SMB1 is disabled on the server/NAS end. And I'm using the out of the box
experience for Ubuntu 23.04. The UX of this whole situation is
effectively broken. And while I know that I can just "killall gvfsd-smb-

If you disable/uninstall gnome-shell-extension-appindicator or disable the
legacy tray icons option, you have to log out of your active gnome session and
re-login again. If you do not log out, the bug will still occur.

Yes, most cases the /snap/foo/current/ folders, but I also got it
crashed while using the Downloads folder also. But, it mostly happens
