Thank you for your bug report. That's probably because snapd doesn't
allow access to removable media by default and that interface isn't
connected by default for eog
Could you try if that resolves the issue for you?
$ sudo snap connect eog:removable-media :removable-media

Hi Sebastien, that did work but I'm still wondering why do I need to run
that command but not for the shotwell ?

$ snap find shotwell
doesn't return anything here and afaik it is only available as a deb

Good morning, it does not give a error message. The date just shows the
time, I went into gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface
clock-show-weekday true and changed false to true as instructed to do,
but nothing changed, still just showing the time (6.57 AM). i upgraded
