Hmm, I'm running multiple indicators from multiple apps and I still
can't reproduce this crash. So my next suspicion is that it may be

CPU usage increases dramatically (and visible stuttering) when running
indicator-multiload
I am not certain why fractional scaling below 100% would cause any
different performance issues than fractional scaling above 100%, but it
is certainly something that I have wanted for a long time sometimes
the fact that it would cause some blurring as the image would be scaled
to contain more
I can look into it, I feel also mutter plays a role here. Indeed being
triggered by the extension.

I'm experiencing the same bug on Ubuntu 22.04. I have found a semi-
workaround: moving the dock to the other side of the screen and back
fixes the positions of all the windows, and this can be done quickly
with a custom keyboard shortcut that executes the following script:

This issue is caused by lightdm running /usr/sbin/lightdm-session
instead of /etc/X11/Xsession.
The simplest workaround for me was:
- introduce has_option functon as 1st step in Xsession.d sourced scripts
