this enabled, it is not possible to run the programs through the search.
But when disabled, it is possible to search and run the programs. Here's

The bug doesn't happen if I build mutter/gnome-shell from git. The bug
still doesn't happen if I build the Ubuntu 42.1 tags (jammy) from salsa,
with all Ubuntu patches.
Using the jammy release binaries the bug still occurs consistently. I am
not getting any results from gjs_dumpstack anymore (like
upstream thinks they fixed it now with

I am encountering strange UI rendering glitches in various UI elements
in GTK 2 applications. Especially in menu item hover states.
I first encountered the issue in GIMP but found that it is also present
in tomboy-ng which is also using GTK 2.

I made some changes to the patches I submitted previously. In summary, I added
permission to Xauthority files in the AppArmor abstraction and changed the
dependency of AppArmor in Evince to "Recommends".
