I have run the request above, and attach a screenshot of the launcher. The issue occurred in both my desktop and laptop when I upgraded to 21.10 As you can see all active windows are highlighted in the launcher except for nautilus, therefore clicking on Nautilus opens another instance. Cheers On

Apparently you didn't know there are two kinds of "username". While you can't change the login name easily after a user has been created, being able to change the display name (as shown on the login screen, for instance) is a reasonable feature. Possibly there is room for clarification in the UI.
