When I have 1 window or more opened from nautilus and right click on bar
icon and then click a folder like Downloads ord Desktop all windows are
suddenly closed.

It seems that search results are given by Tracker, which is a separate
app dedicated to searching. This is a config option / design choice.
To fix this, Nautilus would need to ping D-Bus that the file has moved,
Tracker see's this event and updates it's cache and again notifies D-Bus

Steve,
IIRC this crash was fixed by *either* the gnome-shell or extension fix.
So the original test case would fail only while *neither* of the two
fixes were applied.
The gnome-shell fix made the shell API more robust so as to protect
itself from crashing in the presence of a buggy extension.

Thanks for the bug report.
First please look in $HOME/.local/share/gnome-shell and ensure there is
no directory named 'extensions'. If there is one then remove it and log
in again.
Similarly please open the 'Extensions' app and ensure you only find the
three Ubuntu extensions listed.

Also 'virt' memory is not real and should be ignored.
I can't tell what you mean by "reserved" memory but next time you
encounter the problem please run:
ps auxw | grep gnome-shell
and paste the output here.
