Closing the bug then, thanks. There was a matching dev binary but you
hit a special case where the stable update failed verification and was
removed and you were left on a version that doesn't exists anymore,
that's one of the risk of opt-in for proposed updates.

I got this too, comes out of nowhere, typing stalls for a second or two,
sometimes the keystrokes are remembered, and typed a bit later, other
times they're just dropped and i sit and look at the screen, then try
typing and the letter shows up, very annoying for a developer.

The original bug report was slightly inaccurate. "Black flashes" may
occur also without taking a screenshot, usually when closing an
application.

I too can confirm this. I have much simpler configuration, a single
17-inch laptop with full HD resolution. OS version is Ubuntu 20.04.
Under X11, if I select any fractional scaling above 100%, the mouse
cursor moves slower via the touchpad. Under Wayland there are no
problems on any scaling.

This issue still happens on Ubuntu 20.04. I use a laptop with Bluetooth
keyboard. I couldn't use media keys like volume up and down due to the
large delay. Even if I use the media keys in a single keyboard, the
delay happens.

The same happens in Debian 10, so that's not Ubuntu-specific.

Public bug reported:
Having a "synchronize' entry in a dropdown list is VERY userUNfriendly.
I cannot imagine the mindset that deems it okay.
The button should always be visible, so put it on the top
bar of the application.

Correction: The above repro steps were done on Debian 10. They work the
same in Ubuntu 20.04, with the exception that in Ubuntu the .deb opens
in the Software app, unlike in Debian which opens it in the Archive
