arguments mapping is correct, when launching `x-terminal-emulator` the

On my system, x-terminal-emulator is set to /usr/bin/gnome-
terminal.wrapper. Is it the wrapper you mentioned?

The problem actually seems to occur with any video that contains
transparent pixels. Here is for example a VP8-encoded fully transparent
video with which I can reproduce the problem.
The video displays perfectly fine in vlc, mpv, and firefox (the
transparent pixels are simply displayed in black).

Since this is the first time I've ever seen this (other Nvidia users
don't seem to encounter the same issue) I would suggest the simplest
