I opened Disks (gnome-disks) and it sees all my drives, but it won't
show SMART stats on my NVME drive (Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB). The

20.04 RC shows the same problem with the nvidia-340 drivers on a MacPro
3,1 with Mac ROM'd GTX680. The autologin is ignored and the greeter is
shown instead. While the login works fine at the point, restarting then

No fractional scaling is enabled. I eventually started just not using
fullscreen to avoid the flashing annoyance. I have since upgraded to
20.04. I see now that when I put an app into fullscreen, I no longer see
the flashing I reported in this issue. So my guess is something was
fixed in focal.

This bug should be able to be reproduced on any computer with i915 +
nouveau simultaneously modesetting, booting to stock gdm3 (wayland by
default). My main example is a MacBookPro6,2 with the infamous GT 330m
on 20.04 with -proposed enabled and booting with the following grub

Hi, this issue happens to me to. But I figured it out that this only
happens in vertical multi-monitor setup with the dock on the left or on
the right. If I move the dock to the bottom, the issue disappears. So
that could be a temporary workaround for you until this bug is solved.
