in almost the same color as the text, making it very hard to read. see

I resolved it by removing gnome at all, use xfce it has no javascript

Just to make it clear - invalid in this case means obsolete... Panel
these days use GTK3 not GTK2, panel does not use libbonobo that I see in
your attached files.

Just ran into this same issue with Linux Mint 19.3 with Cinnamon 4.4.8
Using this instruction worked for me also. Burning completed without further
issue.
cd /usr/bin
sudo chmod -v 4711 cdrdao
udo chmod -v 4711 wodim
sudo chmod -v 0755 growisofs

As pointed out this bug is still present on ubuntu 20.04 (mutter
3.35.91-1ubuntu1). It happens more rarely in LibreOffice but quite often
in the WPS office.

I am getting this message very very frequently.

from the command line. The most intersting thing is that I may have 5
or 6 bash windows open. Aftetr executiong Meld from one terminal
window. If I subsequently use meld from a Different teminal session,
these errors spray-out on
First of all, I need to apologize to respond one month later. Yes, it's
my case. I had installed pulseaudio's plugins before this error appears.
I installed the pipewire lib and Gnome Control Center started work
again.
Even so, I will respond my commands' outputs:
$ dpkg -l | grep gnome-control
Please run:
apport-collect 1850960
which will give us different attachments since comment #9.
