experienced this sporadically. I assume installing dash-to-dock causes

The 'dconf read' with ':list' syntax has changed, so the comments above don't
work in 18.04.
Updated, this worked for me:

The actual version status of all the linux boxes (about 10 units) or VMs
(about 6 units) with ubuntu desktop is from 14.04 LTS to 18.04 LTS

issue without dash-to-dock. I made sure I was on the old version and
installed dash-to-dock, and still could not replicate the issue
reliably. I'm hesitant to say the patch is verified until we've gone an
