Yeah ofcourse the circle appears sometimes.
Although, the circle icon on the top of the window doesn't appear always (most

I had this bug happened to me. Opened GIMP, but couldn't save a file to
/usr/share/icons. So I re-opened GIMP with `sudo gimp`. Next time I try
to open GIMP, I get permission denied. I tried removing the directory to
hopefully let GIMP auto-regenerate it, but then I got a file not found
error.

I think this is regression-release because the default display manager
in Ubuntu 17.04 was not broken in this way and the default display
manager in Ubuntu 17.10 is.
But hey, what do I know, I'm just an end user.
