I get the problem after a new install. I have my configurations file in
Dropbox and my bookmarks in Chrome/Chromium. It's essential to me that it's

When I restart or shutdown, I get a very unusual screen output like a
terminal command had been ran. It's happened for the last few days and I
just installed the beta 1 release yesterday for a fresh install. I'll
upload a video after this comment to show you what's going on.
This seems to be specific to gnome-shell, not to Wayland in general.
This bug does not occur in Weston, the reference Wayland compositor.
