The related bug in the GNOME issue tracker seems to be stalled.
I have just bumped the issue, but at the moment I am not expecting any
answers. Do you consider adding the available patch to the Ubuntu
package if the upstream maintainers won't respond?
Not having this feature prevents me from usin

I am hoping that by converting this bug into a question I can get some
advice on how to deal with my faulty WD hardrive, to somehow speed it up
or save my materials or (*the best of all) how to make it work again
without - the worst case scenario, reformatting it. Thanks again for any

Still happening randomly on an up-to-date Ubuntu 16.04.
Now killing the nautilus process solves the issue temporarily, but it
takes some time for nautilus to start again even after killing the
process.

Hi,
im also having this bug (blinking "paste" menu item, when I have copied
certain things (or not copied anyrthing?).
My system is a fully updated Ubuntu 16.04
Well, however I noticed that when the paste button is blinking (Which is
nearly ALL of the time), Nautilus's CPU usage goes up to value
PS: reinstalling nautilus fixed that bug for me... however, I got it
without doing anything on a fresh installation in the first place...
