between the two previous installations is the password/seahorse password

Installing xwayland did not seem to solve it for me. Upon reboot, gdm
still just loads a grey screen. I cannot even seem to CTRL+ALT+F1 to
get to another tty session in order to fix it. I have to boot to
recovery, remount as read-write and then dpkg-reconfigure lightdm back
to using lightdm.
