I'm using Ubuntu 15.04. After updating the computer , it cannot get into
the login screen after booting. Instead, after the booting animation,
the screen flashes with some booting information (see attachment). I can
now only get into login screen by first using repair mode tha

Yes screen gets locked when menus are open since a couple of Unity
releases.
But right click context menus are a different story. For example when I
have right click menu opened in Nautilus the screen goes blank but when
I move the cursor I see the whole screen and then only after clicking
somwher
