I'm not so sure this is a bug, and I need to revisit the bug report.
I've checked out the headers within the MP3 files (something like):
od -a track.mp3 | head -50
This shows that some of the tracks do contain the wrong information;
however, file (track.mp3) hasn't been update
Experiencing the same problem with 3 Seagate 3TB USB3 drives on a Samsung Gamer
Notebook.
3 years and this problem is only assigned a Medium Importance?

Even removing the xdg autostart file(s) didn’t work for me.

I have this problem too on ubuntu gnome 14.04 . A 10 minute suspend time
is just way too short. Is there another fix or way of extending to half
an hour or more?

that command is not in the scroll back history and not saved to
.bash_history. The command is executed as expected.
