With latest update, on Gnome-flashback (gnome-panel-3.8) every indicator
icons appears small except sound indicator. It doesn't happen in Unity.

Not sure... but I ran through about 20 previous installs all with
encryption's and it would always mention this in verbose right before it
crashed and i'd have to reinstall... But this might be unrelated.

Switching keyboards here is done several times
Today the magick was gone. Layouts are switching fast but Num Lock
indicator is turning off when i'm pressing Alt Shift (but Num Lock
status still is on). When i'm switching layouts with Tab button Num Lock
indicator stays on.

1. I only use Rhythmbox on my new computer in another room now.
2. Rhythmbox seems to be quite resource-demanding, so it works much better on a
computer with a couple of Intel Xeon E5 processors and 32GB of RAM than this
old clunker with one Pentiu
problem still exists:
using ubuntu 12.04 and gftp: editing a .htm file with initially rights 644 ,
editing > then saving locally > actualize the directory > transfering the file
to server > rights "automatically" changed to 600, so i have to manually
re-change every time to 644 !
