When trying to burn anything with brasero directly or with rhythmnbox

The bindings don't have influence on the GTK layout, it's most probably
an incompatibility with the current GTK version and needs to be changed
in the actual applications. Do you have a screenshot for software
updates? It looks quite fine here on trusty.

Ubuntu still suffers on this subject. Other Linux distributions work
perfectly on this matter (Fedora, Linux Mint, OpenSuse)
As far as I know only Ubuntu is not able to change the mouse pointer.

I tested it yesterday and unfortunately it doesn't work reliably. Especially
after rebooting it's not working for me unless I logout and login again.
I found a much more convenient solution based on the hooks of pm-utils, so it's
also independent of your screensa
