I was creating an encrypted partition using gnome-disk-utility
3.6.1-0ubuntu1_amd64. Typing a '1' sign in the passphrase field (not the
confirmation passphrase) crashes the UI. It was reproducable using the
'1' at different positions in the passphrase.

I have tested this now with SciTE 3.3.7 from Upstream and all is working
fine while SciTE 3.3.5 from the Ubuntu repository is still affected.
Maybe it was just a bug in SciTE that it was incompatible or maybe it
has just to be rebuild.

Still affects me in Ubuntu 13.10 with Evinence 3.10 and with a Brother
HL-5350 DN.
As far as I can see there may be a problem in LibreOffice v 4.1 generating a
PDF Page and printing with evinence.
I've other pdf's which are working great, generated with libreOffice v.4.1.3.2.

lid close actions are ignored laptop alw
*sigh* I figured it out.
I'm using fluxbox, so gnome-settings-daemon doesn't start by default,
but gnome-control-panel still *appears* to work.
I added "gnome-settings-daemon &" to my ~/.fluxbox/startup file and now
it all works as expected.
