I'm using libmp3lame under 13.04 amd64 but this dosn't seem to be
Rhythmbox-specific. As stated, it affects Nautilus as well.

The problem is to startup applications with 'gnome-session-properties'
like 'redshift' with parameters like 'gtk-redshift -l geoclue -t
6500:4500'. This application can't run, while guake, dropbox, indicator-
multiload (without parameters) works perfectly on any startup. Where

1. Used extensively (GPARTED=100%), crashed gnome-shell (wasn't answering, I
guess the kernel or something else killed it)
2. Attempted to log back in (had to do SYSRQ+K to logout), got forced in
gnome-classic (however having my icon theme)

Pino, maybe the Debian GNOME maintainers go a bit too far by
blacklisting KDE apps but the KDE maintainers have show no interest in
correctly using the NotShowIn=GNOME; values for basic apps like
Calculator, System Monitor, etc.
Anyway Ubuntu currently disables that blacklist so I'm going to go ah
