Just upgraded to Quantal a week ago. Used gedit to edit a text file
this morning and it worked fine. Restarted my computer and then tried
to edit the same file again and got "Unexpected error: Invalid byte

Hi Chris, This is a GTK bug rather than a specific Rhythmbox issue. The
upstream GTK bug I've linked describes the same thing happening in
Totem. I'll have a look to see if I can fix this in GTK.

I've accidentally changed the operation mode of my Bluetooth phone from
A2DP to Off, then the device is removed from the list.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1064338, so is being marked as such.
It is also very strange that even Ubuntu 12.10 proposed updates
repository does not have the new packages yet. I wonder what is taking
them so long.

Though the program was slow to respond in any folder, it behaved in the
same way as you describe in my photo folders.
I should report that the problem seems to have rectified itself as
nautilus seems to functioning correctly for me now. At first, nautilus
was having trouble every time I opened it
