I can confirm that there is now a confirmation dialog after clicking on "Delete
permanently".
It was probably not the case when I reported that bug.
I would say that solves the problem (although I'm not fond of confirmation

After suspending by closing the lid then resuming by opening the lid, the

Yes, it's fixed in 12.10.
No, this won't ever be fully fixed in 12.04 because it requires Compiz &
Unity to be ported from gconf to gsettings. That kind of huge change
won't be allowed in stable releases. Notably, no one has ported Unity 2D
to gsettings so that code isn't even in the 12.10 archive

some error messages looks unclear and not user-friendly and needs a new design
and some times needs othes buttons (to easily solve the error).

I can confirm that after removing the file as mentioned in post #6, the
error goes away and the system is working fine.

So I misread this; libpango1.0-common.postinst was already removing
/etc/pango/pango.modules in Lucid; so it's a little more complicated an
issue than that.
