have the same sluggish issue such as nautilus,thunar,marlin ,etc. In

I would complete the 'code of conduct' if the "upgrade" to 12.04 would
allow me to generate keys. Is there no "upgrade" code of conduct?
Inflicting unity seems like a violation of such. It *ought* offer
select of classic desktop else there might be heorraging to mint.

Oh! It's an f.d.o. project, not gnome as I mis-guessed.
I eventually found a report there, and it looks like it's been fixed in
the trunk this month. I can't tell if a release may be upcoming, or if
Ubuntu may want to incorporate this, sooner.
The patch does indeed rewrite this code, rather tha
