for the next compiz (hoping coming this week) with gsettings support,
and then, we will be able to update g-s-d and g-c-c with metacity in a

I would have to disagree with the reporter in upstream bug that the
issue stops when using nautilus 3.5.1 as supplied by Ubuntu. (At least
with the available hardware here there is no change at all, nor expected

I just discovered that my Rhythmbox used 1.8 GB of memory.
I then killed it and started it again. I notice that skipping to or
playing a new song eats up memory. If I skip to a next song, about 25 MB
of memory are consumed and not properly released anymore. So if I clic

gnome-settings-daemon gene
It's a normal, local X session that comes up after bootup, using the
standard X server that comes with ubuntu 12.04.
The system is using an xorg.conf file to make it use the fbdev driver,
since it has a Poulsbo video chip for which only a 2d driver is available.
But the xorg.conf doesn't contain a

Appears to work.
I've started to experience this issue on a upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04.
This seems to app on a upgrade, a full install may fix this otherwise I
see that no solution as yet to be produced. Just giving an update on an
non fixed bug.

Ok, I can confirm the XKB issue there, easy way to test is to run from the
build dir (keyboard panel subdir):
"setxkbmap us; ./test-keyboard" (instead of "us" pick a layout which is not
your default one, the code will not run if the default config matches the one
used)

ok, my guess is that upstream broke something in that commit:

they just never really hit the bug because they dropped the xkb code
before 3.5.2 which was the
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
