Public bug reported:
In glchess when you select open saved game the file dialog shows up. Area which
shows files in the dialog is so shrinked vertically that it is unusable.
The reason appears to be the result of what method add_info_bar_to_dialog in

I can't reproduce this in Precise using the steps given. You should re-
test and see if you are able to reproduce it on Precise and if so,
clarify the directions.
I've been messing around with adding/removing layouts for some other
bugs for some time now and have never seen this dialog. My guess
I am not able to reproduce this on precise.
Notably, the 'keyboard model' option is no longer provided in the GUI
(at least, no where I can find), so it's no longer possible to put
keyboards into this broken state using the directions given in this bug.
If you still know of a way that affects prec

I disagree that it is a security bug, as invalid passwords are only

Now that -nvidia supports xrandr 1.2, it's probably not worth the effort
to fix this. For quantal, presumably the stock config dialog should
"just work" with nvidia, so no need for special hacks there. And for

I'm no expert but a working command you can use to change the display
brightness temporarily as a normal user is:
echo somevalue | sudo tee /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness
For example if you want to set the brightness to 2, run following:
echo 2 | sudo tee /sys/class/backlight
