I can reproduce by pressing Alt, but I think this is normal since that`s
being caught by the HUD normally. For anything else, I`d say it`s
localization-related. I can`t begin to explain why this would happen

I also have developed the problem of "segmentation fault" which occurs
immediately upon clicking Keyboard Layout. I believe the problem has
turned up recently, but I'm including a core dump for analysis. This

As per the GNOME bug, I confirm that switching from the "Ubuntu" theme
to the "Clean" theme fixes this for me. I realise that this isn't
really my business, but given that Ubuntu has limited development
resources available, it it really the most efficient use of those
