I have nautilus set to show list mode, ie showing the file 'name',
'size', 'date modified' and 'type'.
If I right click on a row showing one of the files or directories, it
should normally display a context menu for that file (ie the menu
starting with the 'Open' command). Th
Perhaps it is a related issue: in earlier versions of Ubuntu, nautilus'
list mode showed each row in alternating shades of grey, but in Ubuntu
12.04 this appears to be broken in the default Ambiance theme, as all
the rows are white.
