not. It just unlocks screen, so in case you're using kerberos - your
credentials cache stays expired and you need to manually change your password
or logout and then login again (lightdm, gdm, etc.

I agree with Renbag. I use terminal windows without scroll bar all the
time. Thi is not a solution. The only reasonable solution is to restore
invisible grabbing area of size~5 pixels within all long window's
borders.

screen by grabbing the "handle" on the side.
I have just tried with evince and nautilus, am assuming the problem is
universal and caused by metacity.

I have managed to obtain at least some screenshot. (Usually when you
launch or switch to another application, including "take screenshot",
the dialog gets drawn correctly.)

When I install the package "kubuntu-desktop" on a freshly installed
12.04 and log into Unity afterwards the contact list tooltip colors in
empathy are changed to white text and light grey background.
The text can barely be read and I dont know how to fix this.
