work fine.
Strange thing is that nautilus actually created the target directory and
transferred two of the contained files before it hang.

#6 is very intrusive and would change a lot of upstream code this late
in the cycle. Here is an even better proposal:
1- Add a new gsettings key called "lock-on-suspend", which defaults to
