In Windows, the Firefox app button is on top left. Since titles vary in
length and it's good to have the app button always in the same place,
because it makes finding the app button easier, we would better have:

only just running nothing works and i mean knowing and i do not know why

I had the same problem in 11.10. Uninstalling the dropbox package
resolved the issue for me, so it's possible the issue is on their end.

If you are using a cd-rw or dvd-rw and brasero can't read your disk
after an unsuccessful burn, you can use k3b (sudo apt-get install k3b)
to blank the disk and write to it again.
