Now for the second time since I upgraded to Precise, I experienced
e-mail corruption in Evolution. In the list view, subject, sender and so
on are correct, but when I open the e-mail, its content is truncated and
also shows parts of the message that are normally not printed, l

I tried to reproduce the issue but with no success.

I update my repositories to oneric, then got a lot of erros and no desktop...
After that i removed the oneric repositories from /etc/apt/sources.list and did
a new install of the desktop using:

I decided to go back to 10.04.3, 11.10 has too many system freezes/bugs
and slowness and other user-level inconveniences.
In 10.04.3 this and many other issues does not exist, and everything is
much faster in general, booting, starting applications etc, compared to
11.x

I still have the problem in my Xubuntu/XFCE desktop. Not sure if it is

Not to dismiss the bug reports, but could the large number of these
kinds of errors be caused by bad recording media (instead of a bug in
ubuntu)? It seems like people posting here with this problem are
booting from a live-cd image.
Though I doubt this is relevant, I run into these kinds of probl
oops. nevermind. I just read the bug description more carefully.
