Thanks Daniel for the PPA. I'm using unity=4.24.0-0ubuntu2b1vv1 and
it's doing the job. Except for a little bug.
I have 2 monitors : one left and one front (the primary). In CCSM, i
configured the "Hide Launcher" item to "Never" so that the launcher is
always visible on the left of the front scre

that allows you to select which ones you don't want to see.
But since this logs disappearing behaviour was NOT intentional and only cropped
up in oneiric while being fine in the rest it is still a bug.

Yes, but you also mentioned your laptop doesn't resume at all...so now
I'm confused...do you see this issue when you resume from suspend, or
when you unlock your screen?

and if it is needede (e.g. for kiosk-mode) this should not be the
default in ubuntu. if someone wants login without password he should
edit the needed configs in my opinion

I have the same problem on my ASUS X52JU with a fresh install of Oneiric
: Brasero shows that my empty CD-R has 7,9Mo left (see screenshot).
But strangely it worked when I pressed the "Burn" button : my .iso file
was correctly burnt on the CD-R.

Fixed by upgrading python-gobject to 3.0.0-0ubuntu4. F2 still doesn't
work, but clicking does.

1. Insert a blank CD-R (do this first, because when I do it when brasero asks
for it, I do not get the bug...)
2. ALT+F2 brasero
3. Click on "Burn an image"
4. Select an *.iso file
5. Try to select your empty-CD-R
You should get a normal drop down menu, but instead the menu
