I made a plugin for gedit 3.x that does the same thing as my original: toggle
word wrap with CTRL+R and display the wrap state in the status bar. I called
it "Quick Text Wrap". The files should be extracted into the directory
"~/.local/share/gedit/plugins".

still floating around. You just have to specify that version when you
apt-get install (after adding the ppa). The syntax is

I guess when always_use_location_entry is true then Control+L won't work

I don't think this is a duplicate. This bug is particularly about the
fact that the way to get a fast mouse is to set sensitivity to "low",
which is not particularly intuitive. I would expect high sensitivity to

course many of us probably should have stuck with the LTS in the first

tooltip on GSM. It says "Sending 1.7 MB/s". This is what he reporting

I just found this bug report after experiencing the same problem in 11.04
Seeing that gnome-settings-daemon throws an error I tried killall
gnome-settings-daemon and after a short pause, my expected theme reappeared. I
didn't even have to log out.
Maybe this will help others until a fix is found.

I managed to reproduce the behaviour Volodya has reported both in Ubuntu
11.10 and Ubuntu 10.10. This is not just relating to FTP but also
happens with removable devices and Windows shares.

You can change the character encoding by reopening the file and choosing an
encoding in the "Open file" dialog.

Btw, although the workaround of a user-level setting to never dim the screen
works in part, the screen will also dim on lightdm before anyone h
Same problem with samsung galaxy s2 - also it seems as though bluetooth
audio will be broken.

Here is a work around. Change the side panel to 'tree view' then use the top
menu to edit the bookmark and save it. then change the side panel back to
places and now it will be using the new bookmark label.
