I guess its a problem with 64 bit. After reinstalltion (pae->64bit) Nautilus has the same problem as described here Before it wasnt that Ram eater. I mentioned this problem a year ago, when i was using a 64 bit System. The Less RAM overall on PAE was about 200 MB with exactly the same config --
