I resolved this problem by run this command: "gsettings set
org.gnome.desktop.lockdown disable-lock-screen false"
I copied guest session's home dir(/tmp/GuestXXX/*) to administrator's
dir(/home/admin/*) a few days ago, and this let admin account disabled

For me, the proxy settings simply have no effect, even through reboot.
Both Firefox and Chrome do not use the proxy. Also the exempt hosts list
is missing.

Actually this was due my LCD problem. I replaced the LCD and the issue is gone.
There is nothing to do with the software.
I have changed the bug status to invalid.

I also use Compaq Persario CQ40 with Oneric 64bit and I also face exactly the
same issue.
Even if the battery is 70%, it say battery critically low and laptop suspends
when on battery power.
My Oneric version is not Beta version it is the stable version I installed
yesterday.
