I recently needed to reinstall Ubuntu 10 on a x64 laptop. Installation

Since I upgraded to Oneiric, whenever I leave my laptop plugged in but idle, it

I have a similar problem since the middle of September, 2011. I'd guess

Public bug reported:
Nautilus crashes every time I attempt to open the Documents, Downloads,
Pictures, Videos directories inside my users home directory. No reason
for the crash is given, the program just halts suddenly. I'm happy to
supply error logs if someone can tell me where they may be but
seems similar to bug #865567

It does seem extremely similar to bug #859498, I see the NM disconnect
for example. I am still seeing it with gnome-settings-daemon
3.2.0-0ubuntu4 if that is relevant.
