Well, with the latest updates, I now get 3.2.0 (gedit --version). I
still use gedit on daily basis and it hasn't happened since.

Ubuntu identifies the ATI and ask if I would like to install the proprietary
drivers, event installing it the ATI card will not work since I do not have an

gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in
This affects me as well. Whenever I have more than one video in the
playlist, the next video does NOT start. The "play" icon is displayed,
but the movie is frozen. The only way to get it to play is to quit Movie
Player, then launch the video individually.

I have this same problem in beta 2. I don't see a battery indicator or
way to set the battery indicator as "always show". I am running on a HP
Pavilion dv7 laptop with Oneiric Beta 2 64 bit, upgraded from Natty.

After a fresh install (beta2), I have disabled backports before updating the
patches. This probably made the difference why I'm not able to reproduce
this bug.

[Oneiric] Selecting "System Settings" on the menu when already show
I should add that this game does not display properly in every theme
available on a standard Ubuntu install. In some cases the lines and
borders do not show up; in one theme numbers that are entered are drawn
in white on a white background, in another, numbers in the highlighted
square are not vis
Just tested Unity 2D and there the filename appears in the window title.

I agree with Paul - it is a shame that it's taken so long to get this
fix to end users.
Don't get me wrong, I applaud the work of the open source community and
have the greatest respect for those who give their time to support open
projects, however I suspect the slow turn-around of this particula
