Well, I changed my computer, so I can't be sure. The resume problem has
disappeared. The unplugging problem was fine using the workaround.

window, and this is not possible now using libwnck (they would need to
use Xlib directly, and this is a waste). See bug #702452 for example.

I provided all the response and feedback. It is Ubuntu that have done
nothing for almost a year. I don't see the point of me doing anything
more since Ubuntu won't address it any way other than asking again in
another year if it still happens.
I really don't know why I bother submitting bug repo
I've updated to Natty on the one laptop to which I currently have
access and haven't seen this issue. I have also installed as a VM in
Virtualbox and have not seen the problem again.

Hi. Sorry, but there hasn't been anything to report, except that it has
persisted after my upgrade to 11.04. What's more, I currently have my
brother's PC here, and after upgrading from 9.10 through to 11.04, I can
tell you now his system does exactly the same! And I can verify it
wasn't doing this
Thank you for the response, I'll install Ubuntu 11.04 within next 30
days and I'll let you know if I get the same issue again.

This is no longer an issue. Turns out that it was due to some settings
changes in "gdm" file.

I found my problem is this

sudo aptitude install libpam-gnome-keyring=2.92.92.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu3
sudo aptitude install gnome-keyring=2.92.92.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu3
,and I fixed
I had found a fix for it then or an update fixed it. i cant test it
anymore because i dont have two monitors anymore. i do know that it
worked with that version.

It turns out that this was an issue with my software burning the ISO
onto a DVD. I ended up using Windows 7 default writer and it worked
fine. Thanks for the response.
